Joomla plus Community Builder = a community site! But, here's the problem. Users fill out a profile which is set in Community Builder. That profile gives you critical information about that site member. Based on one of those fields, you often want to direct them to a specific page upon logging in. This puts the most relevant information in the user's face as soon as he or she logs in. But how to do that? Easy - Login Redirect for Community Builder! Select a field from the profile. Map as many values from that field to specific URLs as you desire. Set up a default URL for users who don't have a value for that field or who have a value for which you don't have a specific page to show. Then, presto! As users log in to your site, they will automatically be redirected to the page you selected for them to see based on their selections in the profile field chosen.
